Local questions
California service-area FAQs.
Can Skyline Benefit help clients anywhere in California?
Skyline Benefit is licensed in California and can assist eligible clients throughout the state. Carrier availability, Medicare service areas, employer locations, provider networks, and plan options still vary by county, ZIP code, and eligibility.
Does Skyline Benefit charge a fee for help choosing health insurance?
No. Skyline Benefit does not charge customers for standard consultations, plan comparisons, quotes, or enrollment assistance. When coverage is placed through Skyline Benefit, compensation is generally paid by the insurance carrier and is not added to your premium.
Does every California county offer the same Medicare plans?
No. Medicare Advantage and standalone prescription drug plan availability can vary by county and ZIP code. Medicare Supplement premiums and underwriting or guaranteed-acceptance rules may also vary by carrier, age, rating area, and eligibility.
Can a California employer work with Skyline Benefit remotely?
Yes. Employers can share census and renewal information securely, review proposals by video or phone, and receive ongoing enrollment and service support without needing an office near their worksite.
